You are always on my mind…

  • I worked out yesterday morning (I power walked 2 1/4 miles and did 30 minutes of yoga). This morning, my butt was killing me! Aaaaand, that was all the motivation I needed to do it all over again today!!! In my mind, when it comes to exercise, pain = results! I’m motivated. Again. Finally.
  • I threw an applesauce cup into my fruit smoothie this morning, not thinking about the fact that it was a Granny Smith applesauce cup. My smoothie is a bit sour. :-P
  • I have photos on my camera – I’ll try to upload them and share them later.
  • We had Darby’s birthday party on Monday. She loved it. (some of the photos are from that)
  • I’ve been thinking of writing a book. I know I’ve mentioned this before, and I’ve actually started on several books of varying topics, but this is a new book. I want to write about some of the things Andrew and I went through in our marriage. I hesitate because I’m not sure I really want all those details out there (not sure how detailed I’d get in the book), but at the same time, I really think a book like the one I’ve got in my head could help a lot of women going through similar situations. I sure as heck could have used a book like it 8 or 9 years ago!  Maybe I’ll go ahead and write it and then decide later if I want to actually try to get it published.
  • And don’t worry – I’d use correct grammar in my book. Unlike on this blog. ;)
  • We are going to separate everything in our kitchen. Separate pantry for gluten-free stuff. Only certain counter space can be used for preparing things with gluten in them. Etcetera. It’s my 2nd main goal for today.
  • 1st on my list is working on the budget, entering receipts into MS Money, and other things of the sort.
  • I’m taking a step backwards with my diet. I’ve added too many foods too quickly and am having headaches, GI issues, and general fatigue. Again. I think it’s either the eggs or the bacon. Darn it. I was enjoying those! Oh well. I enjoy good health more than I enjoy good tasting food.
  • There is no service on my iPhone this morning. I’ve rebooted it three times, and nothing. It just says “No Service”. So not cool!
  • I’ve been reading through the New Testament (I generally focus most of my Bible study in the NT, but I usually skip around – I’m reading through from start to finish again), and came across this verse the other day:
“Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.” (Luke 6:30)
I think we usually focus on the verse prior to this one (“To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also…”), but forget about verse 30. At least I do. Verse 29 seems a little more obscure and therefore seems more doable, or at least is easier to SAY it’s doable (I don’t get struck on the cheek often, er, EVER, do you?!), but verse 30… wow.
  • And that is what’s on my mind this morning. What’s on your mind? (It really is okay to comment ~ I welcome it) ;)

I vote that you write that book! Sharing your story is so important…other people know that they are not alone in their struggles! Glad I found your blog this morning! :)

Write the book and then post it and get everyone who reads it to wrote a review of it. :) On a different note when are ya’ll coming back through Nashville again?

I’m not sure when we’ll be in Nashville again – hopefully before too much time passes by. :)

Write the book and then decide what you want to do with it. That’s the advice I get from my Writer’s Digest magazine on non-fiction stories. :D

I think it would be cool if you wrote a biography about yourself from your childhood, to marriage, and how you come by your lovely six children. How you conquested your health issues. It would be inspiring book to read about. I love inspiring biographies. :D
