Today, part 3

Andrew and I love it when we see amazing sunsets. Andrew has some awesome sky photos on instagram. I snapped this one on the way to a photo shoot tonight:

It was a great shoot with a super sweet family. Andrew came with me and carried Vega around in her carseat while I took photos (he rocks!). He took some pictures of me taking photos (for me to add to today’s blog diary…

The sunset was awesome!

As soon as we were ready to leave, Vega demanded food, so we stopped to feed her.

Then we drove around for a little while talking and enjoying one another’s company.

We had to stop at Lowe’s Foods (a.k.a. the only store near our house where I can grab organic meat and fruit when I don’t have time to drive 45 minutes to Cary… and it’s way overpriced), and I grabbed milk, cereal, eggs, breakfast and dinner meats for tomorrow, etc.

Finally (!) home a little after 9:00, where Justice had already gotten Jacob and Paige to bed (though Paige was still up and looking out the window and came running downstairs when we got there). Darby hadn’t mopped in the kitchen – a chore she was supposed to complete on Sunday – so I made her do it before bed. And Vega needed more milk and attention – and I still had to fill out Justice’s school forms! Andrew called to wish his mom a happy birthday, and Darby was nice enough to volunteer to put the groceries away after she mopped.

The last kid headed off to bed at 10:00, except Vega who thinks 10:00 is party time, and Andrew and I are ready to relax with some snacks and an episode of anything funny on Netflix before we head off to bed. I really hope that sleepy town makes an appearance before midnight (last night it was closer to 12:30), because I’m tired and my first wake-a-kid-up alarm goes off at 5:30.
