Why is wordpress making my photos look so blurry when they really are not blurry?!  Trying two different things here to see which one worked best… Exciting post, I know. ;)

Another round of  ”what I find when I upload pics from my camera”…  the kids were at it again!

I found this photo of Jacob making a crazy face! And yeah, his hair has been cut since this... lol

There were about 10 very blurry photos of Paige, but this one was too cute... did Jacob take these? Who knows!

Following this and a few other silly photos of Jarvis (in our now-lavender guest bathroom, even though it looks pink in this photo - it's a pale lavender), were several close-ups of his hair? I don't know.

And then after he got whomever (Brittany?) to take the previous photos, there were some self-portraits in the mirror.

I do recall Darby being INCREDIBLY dirty a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't take this crazy-looking photo. lol!

Paige as a 'who' (as in 'horton hears a...'). And Jarvis in the background.

Cuteness all around!

Too much cuteness!

Paige playing with the Wii Fit. And wearing Jacob's shirt. Where was I? Who knows?!

Paige loves remotes! She points them at whatever she's trying to control and gets really giddy whenever something actually happens!

Britta doing Wii Yoga. I'm guessing Jarvis took this photo. lol

I got out of the shower one day to find Risk pieces EVERYWHERE! *sigh*

When I saw THIS photo, I knew why they were everywhere!!!!

What evidence will the kids leave for me next time???

Last night as I was falling asleep, I thought of some great blog ideas. I had a whole inspirational post written in my head about raising children. A few nights ago, I had a really funny post in my head – I almost made myself laugh out loud. But, similar to when Jerry Seinfeld wrote down an idea for his act in the middle of the night, but then couldn’t read his own handwriting, I completely forgot my ideas by morning. I couldn’t even remember what the funny post was about, let alone the funny parts.

So…

I am aware that I don’t have near the readers that I used to have before I spent a year or two not posting very often, but the few of you that are left (or back, as the case may be) – what do you want to read about? If you comment about it, I’ll blog about it. No topic is off limits. :)

Yesterday, my littlest girl turned the big ONE! I can’t believe it has been a year since she burst into this world.  She has been such a joy to our whole family, and we are incredibly blessed to have her. I tried taking a few photos outside today, but didn’t get any good shots. I’ll try again this weekend. We are going to celebrate over the weekend as well and Paige will get to try her first bite of cake.  I’m pretty sure she’ll approve, since last week she tried banana bread for the first time and thought it was the best thing since, well, since sliced bread.  I haven’t given her any products containing gluten yet, so she hadn’t had any types of bread prior to the banana bread (which was gluten free).  I have posted some updates on Paige in recent blog entries, so I won’t go on and on. Here is the best of the lot of photos I got outside yesterday. She was having loads of fun on our blanket in the yard and even ventured to the edge of the blanket to get handfuls of grass, leaves, and dirt – she’s making progress in her explorations. She is very curious, so it was only a matter of time before she decided that the yard might not be so terrible after all. :)

I am determined to get back onto the blog bandwagon! I know that I haven’t blogged much in the past several months, and that I’ve lost all my readers, but – if only for the journaling-for-future-generations aspect – I WILL get back into this. :)

So, I think it’s been about two months since I blogged on petracarden.com, and one month since I set this page up for blogging and never told anyone… but that’s all about to change. I’m going to blog regularly if it kills me. :)

I think I’m going to plan a recap post to fill you all in on what’s been going on around here.  Today, though, I went to the doctor and got on antibiotics for mastitis (infection in the breast), so I’m feeling pretty awful and pretty much just resting. I will leave you with a photo of Paige in her leotard, leggings, and tutu – she did not want to be photographed, little stinker, but she definitely likes playing dress-up! :) She’s ten months old now and into absolutely everything… such a cutie!!!

I’m starting over. From scratch. No archives (yet!). But the ability to comment is here. And all titles will be song titles or lyrics. For the unobservant and/or confused out there.

Yes.

I’m back, baby!

And I’m here to stay!

…you’re never gonna keep me down… (sing it with me now…)

I have a new laptop, software installed, ready to blog on a regular basis. Yay!!! Expect good things to come. For now though, I am headed to BED!!! :)

…as soon as I get a new computer… check back now and then. :)

Congratulations to Andrea and Adam!

Things are going great… two hours behind driving schedule… hope to make up for it the next couple of days.

Although I’m starting to regret being on a timeline!! But it’ll be fine. :)
